Synopsis
Depuis sa sortie de prison, Zeki Müller, un ancien braqueur devenu professeur par un étrange concours de circonstances, travaille au lycée Goethe, dirigé par l'excentrique proviseur Gudrun Gerster. Cette année, il est bien décidé à faire passer le bac à tous ses élèves. Mais la tâche s'annonce particulièrement ardue pour cet enseignant pas comme les autres. D'autant que ses méthodes peu conventionnelles ne sont pas du goût de sa nouvelle collègue Biggi Enzberger et que certains de ses élèves semblent plus intéressés par leur vie amoureuse que les cours.Actors

Bank robber Zeki Müller has just been out of prison. Upon his release, he goes to retrieve the money he stole in order to repay a debt, but his friend buried it in a construction site. During Zeki's time in prison, the construction project was completed and his money is now buried beneath the new gymnasium at the Goethe Gesamtschule. In order to obtain the money, Zeki applies for the vacant position of a deceased janitor. However, due to a misunderstanding, he is given a job as a substitute teacher.

The girls burn their school to the ground, and subsequently are found guilty at the Old Bailey. The movie begins on May 14, also known as Rock 'n' Roll High School day at Ronald Reagan High. Summer of 1956. Curious American girl Deborah Collins (Kinski) arrives at the St. Clara's Boarding School in Switzerland.
