Amber (1952)

Amber (Baby Tanuja), a young orphaned tribal girl, stays with her maternal grandfather who is the Chief. She learns that her father was a prince who had married her mother but was killed. The cause of the murder was unknown and the killers were never caught. Her mother had committed suicide soon after. The grandfather sends her to the palace to stay with her paternal grandfather, the King (Bipin Gupta). The King comes to love Amber and she grows up (Nargis) surrounded by love and luxury. However, she is let known through palace intrigue that her grandfather, the King, had got her father killed. She decides to avenge her father's death by killing her grandfather. Ambar, on one of her outings meets Raj (Raj Kapoor), and the two fall in love. Raj turns out to be a bandit, but his father is a loyal server to the king. Raj's father fears that someone is going to harm the king so he sends Raj to the palace. Raj arrives there pretending to be a teacher.

L'invention que tout le monde recherche est définitivement du type science-fiction. C'est une pince à cravate spéciale qui, lorsqu'elle est utilisée avec une paire de lentilles de contact infrarouges, permet à l'utilisateur de voir à travers les murs ! Le type qui les a volés au professeur en fait bon usage en les portant en jouant au poker et en nettoyant ! Il devrait penser plus grand. La première chose que fait Roger lorsqu'il découvre cette petite nouveauté est de s'en servir pour espionner sa copine en train de s'habiller ! C'est plus comme ça. Ce film fait vraiment le tour. Nous voyageons de la Riviera à Genève à Paris à Casablanca (la Casbah pas moins), et à Copenhague. Nous avons même droit à une visite de la brasserie Tuborg. Il y a une fusillade prolongée entre les réservoirs de bière géants.

Early 1600s, France. Eric von Nutter, a greedy Alsatian baron raids Duke de Frissac's family estate Château Salins and kills his entire family except Isabella, his little daughter. Isabella is saved by Melicour, the head of a gypsy tribe nicknamed The Devils. Years later, Isabella is a beautiful and courageous teenage girl. By chance, she encounters François de Bassompierre and gets the opportunity to reclaim her title but Château Salins is now possessed by Von Nutter. France is going through political instability under the child king Louis XIII and needs support from German princes. Therefore, Isabella is barred from possession of Château Salins by the Louvre and a young viscount, Gilbert de Villancourt is assigned as a guardian to her. However, following a failed assassination attempt by a minion of Von Nutter, Isabella vows to avenge her family and take Château Salins back.

In the 2050s, extensive ecological damage has resulted in largely lawless areas that are controlled by mutant raiders. Harry Stark, an ex-cop who now works as a bounty hunter in the wastelands, saves a woman from mutant outlaws. After she pulls a knife on him, he knocks her unconscious and brings her back to town for her bounty. Captain Raymond, Stark's former commanding officer, tells him that the woman, Reno, must be brought to Neon City to collect his payment. Raymond requests that Stark ride shotgun on a transport that is going to Neon City, but he refuses. When Stark's truck blows up, Raymond claims it to be an act of terrorism by mutants. Stark attacks Raymond, only to be knocked unconscious and placed on the transport with Reno.

The film begins in the forest with shots of local wildlife, agitated and on alert, but the source is not seen on screen. The camera then switches to a first person view, hinting at an unseen presence and the scene culminates with the view of a large human-like creature's reflection at water's edge while a haunting wail echos through the forest. Opening credits are next, followed by a review of recent Bigfoot stories via newspaper clippings and narration. Next up is the well-known Patterson–Gimlin film, shot by Roger Patterson on October 20, 1967, in Bluff Creek, CA which shows an ape-like creature walking along a dry creek bed. The narrator goes on to explain that by running statistical data through modern computers, a site in British Columbia has been determined as the most likely spot for a population of Sasquatch to live undisturbed. An expedition is mounted, hoping to verify the creature's existence and secure funding for future research into the phenomenon.

Dipu (Arun Saha), a boy of about twelve years lives with his father (Bulbul Ahmed ). Dipu’s father is a government officer and because of his transferable job, they arrive at a picturesque town. A group of teenagers journey to a remote jungle in search of a friend who's been reported as lost after his trip to the jungle. They use a hot air balloon to search for him. The teenagers are forced to seek shelter in a dark cave where, unbeknownst to them, an unusual creature is silently resting. Soon, the group finds out the terrible thing deep inside the cave, a gigantic Boa, they must now fight for survival before they all die.
