K. T. S. Padannayil is an Indian actor in Malayalam movies. He was one of the prominent supporting actor in late 1990s in Malayalam movies. He has acted in more than 50 movies.

Biography

He was born as the youngest among six children to Kochupadannayil Thai and Maani at Thekkumbhagam, Thrippunithura, Kochi on 1933. He has three brothers, Murukan, Raghavan and Shivan and two sisters, Lalitha and Lathika. He studied at Saraswathi Vilasam School, Tripunithura. He discontinued studies after sixth class due to financial difficulties. He was a theater artist before becoming cine artist. He first acted and directed amateur drama Vivaha Dallal, at Trippunithura Khadibhavan's Amber charkha spinning mill's Annual day celebration. He also trained youngsters of the Children’s Society at Kannankulangara. He had acted more than 1000s of stages within 40 years. He performed at different drama troupes like Jayabharath Nithakalalaya, Chenagassery Geetha, Vaikom Malavika, Kollam Tuna and Attingal Padmasree. In a career spanning around 13 years he has acted in more than 60 films and has so far starred in more than 100 of television comedy serials.

He is married to Ramani on 1972. The couple has three sons, Syam, Sannan, Saljan and a daughter, Swapna. Currently he resides at Kochi with his son, Syam. He made his debut in the movie Aniyan Bava Chetan Bava in 1995.

Kunjiraman (Vineeth Sreenivasan), nephew of Well-done Vasu(Mamukkoya), plans to marry his daughter Thankamani. All plans are thwarted by his dim-witted cousin brother Laalu (Dhyan Sreenivasan). To avenge this he goes to Gulf to make money and returns to his hometown Desam. He plans to marry well and before that of Vasu's daughter wedding. Laalu (Dhyan Sreenivasan) secretly plots against Kunjiraman with Kuttan (Aju Varghese), his role model. Kunjiraman gets engaged to other women but all end up in cancellations. Villagers superstitiously believe that it was Kunjiraman's actions that brings the subsequent problems and curses to Desam. Later the issues are solved by a chain of events. Both Laalu and Kuttan are left to the short end of stick with their plotting's.

While returning to Ooty, Balagopal learns that one of his students, Rosy Samuel, died in a scooter accident, and that she had loved him. Rosy's ghost visits him and, although friendly at first, she becomes jealous of Balagopal's girlfriend Anjali and transforms into an evil spirit baying for Anjali's blood. The plot revolves around the life in a typical, Malayali household- consisting of four brothers- Nandakumar- A Hindi teacher in the local school, Gopakumar- A medical representative, Krishnakumar- A court office clerk and Chandrakumar- a college student (also the youngest), in order of their age. The first three brothers are married to- Kausalya, Indumati, Anandam, 3 naiive, and shallow wives who adore their husbands dearly and whom the husbands equally love. The family is headed by their father, Munshi Parameshwaran Pillai, a veteran Gandhian teacher respected by everyone in their village, who also homeschools his grandchildren. The youngest brother Chandrakumar is in love with his to-be engaged fiancée, Asha, his cousin. Their relationship is oppressed by the family members because of a small feud between them. But otherwise, the household is a happy, peaceful and satisfied one until the arrival of their new neighbor- an irresistibly charming and beautiful South Indian heroine- Yamuna Rani. This turns the household upside down and sends the ladies into a frenzy. The ladies in order to please the superstar, glamourizes themselves, their husbands and the house. Thus, they form a formidable friendship with Yamuna Rani. Soon, trouble starts to brew, when the loan, with which they bought their new household items in order to impress Yamuna Rani, needs to be paid back to the moneylender. The trouble further escalates when the ladies, each, receive a letter from an anonymous identity, which claims that one of the three men are having an extramarital affair with Yamuna Rani.

Payyarathu Padmanabhan Nair(Kalamandalam Kesavan), who is a well known personality is Praised by the people. He lives precedence life with his whole family members(Kootukudumbam), his Friend Reeve Sankunni(Oduvil Unnikrishnan) and Servant Kuttan(Kalabhavan Mani). He loves his family more than his life but they eyes on his wealth. On the day of his niece Meenakshi's wedding day he meets with a young man Ramanathan(Jayaram). The men of the family sells the kitchen's rice and other goods without Padmanabhan Nair's knowledge. Ramanathan and Sankunni came know about this. They tries to prevent this action. The family members reveals the truth to Padmanabhan Nair that Ramanathan is Sankunni's nephew and they thrown out of the house. Later Padmanabhan Nair asks Sankunni 'Who is Ramanathan ?' and Sankunni reveals the truth. Padmanabhan Nair rushes to his son and hugs him. But he is in delema that he wanted to accept his son but he can't reveal the truth to the family to save his reputation. The hurted Ramanathan Challenges his father he will accept and tell the truth to whole family.

Appu (Jayaram) and Maya (Manju Warrier) were childhood sweethearts, and their parents had agreed to their marriage.
