On Halloween in Haddonfield, Illinois, having already shown signs of psychopathic tendencies, 10-year-old Michael Myers (Daeg Faerch) murders a school bully. Later that night, he murders his older sister Judith (Hanna R. Hall), his mother’s abusive boyfriend Ronnie (William Forsythe), and Judith's boyfriend Steve (Adam Weisman). Only his baby sister, Angel Myers, is spared. After one of the longest trials in the state’s history, Michael is found guilty of first degree murder and sent to Smith's Grove — Warren County Sanitarium under the care of child psychologist Dr. Samuel Loomis (Malcolm McDowell).

Michael Myers has been in a coma for ten years since the explosion at Haddonfield Memorial Hospital and is being transferred to Smith's Grove Sanitarium by ambulance. Upon hearing that he has a niece, Michael awakens, kills the paramedics, and makes his way to Haddonfield to look for her. Dr. Sam Loomis (Donald Pleasence), Michael's former psychiatrist, who also survived the explosion, learns of Michael's escape and gives chase. He follows Michael to a small gas station and eatery, where Loomis finds Michael has killed a mechanic for his clothes, along with a clerk. Michael then escapes in a tow truck and causes an explosion, destroying Loomis's car in the process. Loomis is forced to catch a ride to Haddonfield to renew his search for Michael.

Roland, un jeune délinquant de 16 ans, arrive dans un centre de redressement au moment où un chahut de réfectoire dégénère en révolte générale. Un petit groupe, composé d'une quinzaine de garçons et d'une fille, en profite pour voler la fourgonnette du centre et part faire une virée échevelée. En chemin, les adolescents s'arrêtent dans un village où se déroule un bal populaire mais, à la fin de la soirée, la confrontation entre les jeunes et le barman qui les accuse de ne pas payer leurs consommations dégénère, il sort un fusil et tient des propos racistes envers deux des garçons maghrébins. Un coup part, un garçon est touché et le barman est ensuite poignardé. Les garçons récupèrent le fusil et un autre un homme est tué. Les jeunes s'enfuient dans la fourgonnette, poursuivis par les villageois. Au cours de la poursuite, ils envoient une bouteille de gaz contre leurs poursuivants, elle explose et deux voitures flambent, faisant encore quatre morts. Paniqués, les fuyards finissent dans le fossé et partent en courant dans la campagne.

It is June 1940, during the Battle of France. After five-year-old Paulette's parents and pet dog die in a German air attack on a column of refugees fleeing Paris, the traumatized child meets 10-year-old Michel Dollé whose peasant family takes her in. She quickly becomes attached to Michel. The two attempt to cope with the death and destruction that surrounds them by secretly building a small cemetery among the ruins of an abandoned watermill, where they bury her dog and start to bury other animals, marking their graves with crosses stolen from a local graveyard, including one belonging to Michel's brother. Michel's father first suspects that Michel's brother's cross was stolen from the graveyard by his neighbour. Eventually, the father finds out that Michel has stolen the cross.

Jimmy Grimble (Lewis McKenzie) is a 15-year-old misfit living in Manchester, where nothing seems to go his way.
