Justice League ou La Ligue des Justiciers au Québec est un film de super-héros américain réalisé par Zack Snyder, sorti en 2017. Le film réunit les super-héros de DC Comics suivants : Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg, ainsi que Flash.
Ce film est le cinquième de l'univers cinématographique DC. Il fait suite aux films Man of Steel (2013), Batman v Superman : L'Aube de la justice, Suicide Squad (2016) et Wonder Woman (2017).
Le film est l'un des plus chers jamais produits, avec un budget d'environ 300 millions de dollars. Avec des recettes s'élevant à 657,9 millions de dollars, Justice League s'avère être un semi-échec pour un blockbuster de ce type, contraignant Warner Bros. à ne pas donner dans l'immédiat une suite au film.
Synopsis
Alimenté par sa foi restaurée en l’humanité et inspiré par le sacrifice de Superman, Batman constate l'arrivée d'éclaireurs extraterrestres — appelés "Paradémons" et attirés par la peur de leurs victimes — et comprend que l'attaque majeure prophétisée par Lex Luthor (dans le film Batman v Superman : L'Aube de la justice) est imminente, or Superman est mort et ne peut plus protéger l'humanité. Conscient de ses propres limites, il contacte Diana Prince/Wonder Woman et tente de former avec elle une ligue de super-héros. Il part retrouver Arthur Curry, dit Aquaman, qui habite à Atlantis, tandis que Diana va approcher Victor Stone, footballeur devenu à moitié machine après un accident et capable d'influer sur les technologies, mais les deux hommes refusent de les aider. Barry Allen, jeune homme doté de super-vitesse, accepte avec enthousiasme l'offre de Bruce Wayne.Actors

The planet Krypton faces imminent destruction due to its unstable core; the result of depleting Krypton's natural resources. The ruling council is deposed by the planet's military commander, General Zod, and his followers during a coup d'état. Knowing that artificial population control and isolationism have ruined their civilization, scientist Jor-El and his wife Lara launch their newborn son, Kal-El, the first naturally born Kryptonian child in centuries, on a spacecraft to Earth after infusing his cells with a genetic codex of the entire Kryptonian race. After Zod kills Jor-El, he and his followers are captured and exiled to the Phantom Zone. However, they are indirectly freed after Krypton explodes, rendering the Kryptonian race extinct apart from Zod and his forces.

The Asgardian Loki encounters the Other, the leader of an extraterrestrial race known as the Chitauri. In exchange for retrieving the Tesseract, a powerful energy source of unknown potential, the Other promises Loki an army with which he can subjugate Earth. Nick Fury, director of the espionage agency S.H.I.E.L.D., and his lieutenant Agent Maria Hill arrive at a remote research facility during an evacuation, where physicist Dr. Erik Selvig is leading a research team experimenting on the Tesseract. Agent Phil Coulson explains that the object has begun radiating an unusual form of energy. The Tesseract suddenly activates and opens a wormhole, allowing Loki to reach Earth. Loki takes the Tesseract and uses his scepter to enslave Selvig and a couple of agents, including Clint Barton, to aid him in his getaway.

The "Minutemen", a team of costumed crime fighters, was formed in 1939 in response to a rise in costumed gangs and criminals; the "Watchmen" was similarly formed decades later. Their existence has dramatically affected world events: in particular, Doctor Manhattan's superpowers help the United States win the Vietnam War, resulting in President Richard Nixon being reelected. Doctor Manhattan gives the West a strategic advantage over the Soviet Union, which by the 1980s threatens to escalate the Cold War into a nuclear war. During that time, growing anti-vigilante sentiment in the country leads to masked crime-fighters being outlawed. While many of the heroes retire, Doctor Manhattan and the Comedian operate as government-sanctioned agents, and Rorschach continues to operate outside the law.

One year after the famed Battle of Thermopylae, Dilios, a hoplite in the Spartan Army, begins his story by depicting the life of Leonidas I from childhood to kingship via Spartan doctrine. Dilios's story continues and Persian messengers arrive at the gates of Sparta demanding "earth and water" as a token of submission to King Xerxes; the Spartans reply by killing and kicking the messengers into a well. Leonidas then visits the Ephors, proposing a strategy to drive back the numerically superior Persians through the Hot Gates; his plan involves building a wall in order to funnel the Persians into a narrow pass between the rocks and the sea. The Ephors consult the Oracle, who decrees that Sparta will not go to war during the Carneia.
