Né en Galicie, Autriche-Hongrie, il fit ses études à Vienne et alla ensuite en Palestine. Dans les années 1920 et 1930, il fit carrière dans le cinéma comme producteur. The story begins with the birth of Tsarevich Alexei on 12 August 1904 during the Russo-Japanese War. New Orleans, 1937: Catherine Holly (Elizabeth Taylor) is a young woman institutionalized for a severe emotional disturbance that occurred when her cousin, Sebastian Venable, died under questionable circumstances while they were on summer holiday in Europe.
