L'histoire débute alors que les cigognes, autrefois chargées d'apporter les bébés aux nouveaux parents, se sont reconverties dans le commerce électronique. Leur dernier enfant, non livré, l'orpheline Tulipe, vient d'avoir 18 ans et Junior, une cigogne ambitieuse, est chargée par son patron Hunter de s'en débarrasser. Malheureusement pour Junior, qui n'arrive pas à renvoyer définitivement Tulipe, cette dernière met en marche la machine à faire des bébés... Un nouveau bébé naît, et Junior et Tulipe s'entendent pour le livrer en cachette avant que Hunter ne s'en aperçoive.
Synopsis
Avant, les cigognes livraient les bébés, au point d'avoir fondé une entreprise uniquement consacrée à cette tâche. Mais ça, c'était avant. Un jour, l'une d'entre elles, Jasper, refusa de livrer une petite fille, souhaitant la garder. La balise de géolocalisation de l'enfant se brisa dans la bagarre entre les cigognes, Jasper s'enfuit, et la petite fille, Tulipe, resta à la charge de la compagnie. Son boss, Hunter, décida alors de changer totalement leurs activités : désormais, les cigognes livrent des paquets pour un site de commerce électronique, et ont totalement abandonné la livraison de bébés ; elles emploient également d'autres espèces d'oiseaux à des tâches subalternes.Actors

Vaudeville-era magician Presto DiGiotagione is famous for a hat trick wherein he pulls his rabbit Alec Azam out of his top hat. The short begins with an unfed and irritated Alec locked in a cage, unable to reach his carrot. After Presto returns from eating a meal, he begins practicing his act with Alec, revealing that his top hat is magically connected to a wizard's hat kept backstage with Alec, so that when Presto reaches into the top hat, his hand appears out of the wizard's hat, allowing him to grab Alec and pull him out of the top hat. He intends to feed Alec the carrot, but realizes that he is late for the show and rushes off to the stage without doing so, much to Alec's anger. Presto tries to start the performance, but Alec becomes reluctant to cooperate until he is given the carrot. Presto then spends the rest of the show trying to catch Alec through the opening between his top hat and the wizard's hat.

In 2008, British cheeky chappy rock star Aldous Snow (Russell Brand) releases an album and a titular single — "African Child", which is a commercial and critical failure. In an interview, despite having been teetotal and free of drugs, along with his pop-star girlfriend Jackie Q (Rose Byrne), she drunkenly declares they have a boring life in an interview. He relapses — which effectively ends his relationship with her, makes him lose custody of their son, Naples, sabotages his career and makes him become a slacker. Meanwhile, in Los Angeles, Aaron Green (Jonah Hill) works as a talent scout at Pinnacle Records, a successful record company. He lives with his girlfriend, Daphne (Elisabeth Moss), a doctor. Pinnacle Records is performing badly as a result of poor record sales, and the head of the company, Sergio Roma (Sean Combs), asks for ideas. Green proposes that Aldous Snow play at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on the tenth anniversary of his legendary performance there in 1999.

Composer Peter Bretter (Jason Segel) is in a five-year relationship with actress Sarah Marshall (Kristen Bell), who stars in a CSI-like television show titled Crime Scene: Scene of the Crime.
